There are no Confessions at Our Lady’s after 10am Mass this week.
Prayer Advocates’ Intention is to pray for the victims of the earthquake in Nepal.

next Sunday (10th May) for the Priests’ Training Fund.
Rosary Rally will take place here at the Shrine on Saturday 9th May. We welcome members of the Union of Catholic Mothers to this. Guest
Speakers are Nigel & Rose Stokes. Please note that there is no Exposition after Mass on that day. All are welcome to attend the day.
Prayer & Praise for Northampton will take place at the Cathedral
on Monday 4th May at 7.30pm. Refreshments will be served from 7pm. All are welcome to attend.
Coffee Morning. The SVP would like to thank all who contributed to the Coffee Morning last Saturday.
A wonderful sum of £374.66 was raised. Many thanks and God bless you for your generosity.
9th May Fish and Chip Supper in memory of Fr. Damien and in aid of CAFOD. £10 per adult, £25 for a family
of 4. Night of 60’s 70’s music by Fynnius Fogg at Our Lady’s School, Wellingborough. Raffle prizes, Auction. Bring your own alcohol. Teas and coffees can be purchased. To book your place, put your name
down on the list or call Sally on 01604 811223. Not to be missed. Doors open at 7pm. This event will be matched pound for pound by the government.
Volunteers required to help tidy up the cemetery

Mission at The Sacred Heart Parish – everyone at Our Lady’s is welcome to become involved in and/or attend any
or part of the mission services and activities. We are still in the planning/developing stages so more details will follow shortly. The dates are 13th – 28th June. The draft programme is as follows
Week One will mainly involve the mission team during the 9.30am Mass and the opportunity to meet the team for tea and coffee after Mass. In Week Two the involvement during and after 9.30am Mass will continue
and there will be an event each starting for Youth (minimum age 7 years) on the following themes: The Father, The Son, Reconciliation, The Holy Spirit, The Church. On the final Saturday evening there
will be a social event following the Confirmation Mass, which will also be a chance for us all to re-confirm our own faith and commitment to the Church. Look out for more details nearer the time.
Bible

General Election Holy Hour will be
held at St. Gregory’s RC Church on Wednesday 6th May, starting with Mass at 7pm and followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament until 9pm. This is at the request of the Diocesan Justice & Peace Group.
All are welcome to attend.
SVP Pilgrimage to Walsingham will take place on Sunday 5th July. The coach will leave from the lay-by in Gt. Billing and also from the library at Earls Barton. The
cost is £12 for adults and £3 for children. Please add your name to the booking form in the church porch if you would like to go.
