Come to the Feast of Divine Mercy Sunday 12th April. Calling all Catholics to honour
Divine Mercy Sunday at any of the Holy Masses
by receiving the Blessed Sacrament worthily. Blessing of the image and prayers of Entrustment will be said at all of the Masses. To
celebrate the Feast
of Divine Mercy and to receive the forgiveness of all sins, you are required to go to Confession within 20 days before or
after Divine Mercy Sunday. If you have not been able to attend Sunday Mass
without good reason, you must confess before receiving
Jesus in Holy Communion. For more information about the Feast of Divine Mercy Sunday, please speak to your parish priest or deacon.
Long
term supply priest for Great Billing parish
. Bishop Peter has confirmed that Dom Antony Sutch OSB, monk of
Downside Abbey and currently living at Turvey Abbey, has agreed to take on a long term
supply at Great Billing starting from
16th April. Fr. Antony will be moving into the Presbytery and I am sure we will know more about his responsibilities in due
course. Gift Aid Envelopes.

Anselm’s.
CAFOD Day of Reflection will take place on Saturday 18th April from
10.30am-2.30pm at Sacred Heart Parish Centre. 5 Beaudesert,
Leighton Buzzard LU7 1HZ. It will be led by Brian Purfield. Please bring a packed lunch. See the poster at the back of the Church for

CAFOD Fundraising Event in memory of Fr. Damien will be held in the evening on Saturday 9th May at Our Lady’s Catholic Primary
School, Henshaw Road, Wellingborough. All funds raised
for CAFOD will be matched by the government. If you would like to be

Karuri Quiz Night is being held
on Friday 24th April at St. Gregory’s Catholic School. It will begin at 6.45pm for 7pm. Refreshments
will be available. There is a £50 prize for the winning team. Ring/text John on 07982511029 to register

team (£2 per person and there is no limit on team numbers).
Vocations Weekend for young women (20s and 30s) will take place at Broadstairs, Kent between 22nd -24th May. The theme is
“Discerning
God’s Call in my life”. The weekend is organised by the sisters, Faithful Companions of Jesus. For

General Election. Now that campaigning for this has begun, there are copies of a joint letter from the Catholic Bishops of England and
Wales for you to take away and read.
The letter encourages us to participate and vote in the election and offers some key issues and
questions for reflection on where candidates stand. Please do take a copy.
