Message from Bishop Peter. “Due to his health situation and in obedience to his monastic superiors at Downside, Father
Antony is unable
to take up the long-term supply as planned at this time. The Bishop has arranged for Father Henry, a priest from Nigeria at present on
sabbatical and residing at Our Lady’s Corby,
to come and live in the presbytery and supply in the parish as from the weekend of 18/19
April until September this year.”

CAFOD Day of Reflection will take place on Saturday 18th April from 10.30am-2.30pm at Sacred Heart Parish Centre. 5 Beaudesert,

CAFOD Fundraising Event in memory
of Fr. Damien will be held in the evening on Saturday 9th May at Our Lady’s Catholic Primary
School, Henshaw Road, Wellingborough. All funds raised for CAFOD will be matched by the government. If you

Karuri Quiz Night is being held on Friday 24th April
at St. Gregory’s Catholic School. It will begin at 6.45pm for 7pm. Refreshments

SVP Coffee Morning. The St Vincent De Paul Society are holding a coffee morning to raise funds and all are welcome to join us for
and cakes at 96 Station Road, Earls Barton on Saturday 25th April from approximately 11am (or after the 10am Mass).
General Election. Now that campaigning for this has begun, there are copies
of a joint letter from the Catholic Bishops of England and
Wales for you to take away and read. The letter encourages us to participate and vote in the election and offers some key issues and
for reflection on where candidates stand. Please do take a copy.
General Election Hustings will take place for Northampton North Constituency on Monday 20th April from 7.30pm – 9pm at Kingsley
Park Methodist Church Hall and for Northampton South Constituency on Wednesday 22nd April from 7.30pm -9pm at Castle Hill United
Reformed Church. Doors open at 7pm. Written questions must be handed
in by 7.10m or submitted beforehand to
