Fr. Jerry who will take over as Priest in Charge at the Sacred Heart and Our Lady of Perpetual Succour from 1st September. Please pray for him and both parishes as he prepares to take on this responsibility
and make yourselves known to him when he arrives.
Changes in the Parish Office. The Diocese has decided that the presbytery, which will be vacant at the end of this month, should be put on the
market to rent so “To Let” signs will appear in the coming days – this will obviously have an impact on the location of the parish office which will have to move so this is currently under discussion.
It seems an appropriate time to inform everyone that Irena will be retiring as Shrine and Parish Administrator/Secretary in February of next year. We will keep you informed of any developments.

Sea Sunday Appeal 2015. If you have any rosaries,
prayer cards and books, medals, etc that you are currently not using but would like to pass on to others in need, please see Irena, who will then arrange to pass them on to the Apostleship of the Sea chaplains.
Please, though, do not include any of the old Missals as they are of no use to the seafarers.
